  • We increase the prize money (1st-$4k, 2nd-$2k, 3rd-$1k). All teams with final submission will receive gifts from ByteDance.
  • We extend the final submission deadline to 4/19 and the registration deadline to 4/12.
  • The final rankings will be announced on 4/28 and the camera-ready due is on 5/12.
  • The final submission does NOT require a paper! The winning teams will have two weeks to write the paper.

• Mar 25, 2023 - Leader board for test results have been posted (update daily).

• Feb 21, 2023 - Grand Challenge code package is released.

• Jan 30, 2023 - Call for Grand Challenge!

• Jan 20, 2023 - ACM MMSys 2023 Grand Challenge webpage is live.

Participation

This challenge is open to any individual, academic or commercial institution (except ByteDance employees). Interested individuals are welcome to participate as a team. Each team can have one or more members (up to 4). Please follow the guidelines to register first. Each individual can only be part of one team. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for misleading information or inappropriate behavior during the challenge.

At the end of the Challenge, all teams will be ranked based on the evaluation metric score described here. The top three performing teams will receive award certificates during the MMSys conference and cash prizes:

All teams with final submission will receive gifts from ByteDance. The winning teams should also agree to prepare a camera-ready version of their technical paper to be published in the ACM Digital Library.
